        Arthur Delaney (1927 - 1987) was one of the North West of UK's finest and most unusual artists, painting industrial scenes, and finding beauty and drama in his surroundings. Born in Manchester, just off Oxford Road, near to the La Scala picture house. His father was Frank Randle, the then well known but now largely forgotten northern comedian. His painting was influenced by the work of L. S. Lowry and certain similarities can be seen, however in the main, his work is in oils and represents Manchester in the 1930's, often featuring trams in his subject. Today, he is probaly 2nd only to Lowry in terms of fame for a North West artist. His prices are certainly more affordable than Lowry's, and, in my opinion, a far better investment.

        Up for sale is this lovely rare Arthur Delaney signed limited edition print. Unframed.
