Interesting oil on canvas with a man looking over bridge and the washing blowing in the foreground. Signed lower ledt unreadable. The canvas does show signs of wear consumate with age. A good feeling with an almost Carel Weight-type ambience of quiet forboding or something unspeakably sinister in the air.
