Children: Barnabé Southcombe,
Charlotte Rampling began her career in cinema in the mid 60s. She quickly established herself as an actress on renown and integrity. Indeed, throughout her career she has chosen roles which have often been complex, sometimes controversial as opposed to blockbusters and consequently critics have found it hard to label her. Never has she been dull.
She lived and was married to the composer, Jean-Michel Jarre, for 20 years before their split in the late 90s.
She currently divides her time between homes in Paris and London.
