Softbound Tour Programme
1995. 24-page programme. Well: here it is. One of the rarest Sylvian programmes (or any other item) you will find. This is only the 2nd one that I've seen in 10 years. It's has beautiful photography throughout complimenting the poem (some pages pictured below). This comes with the amended poetry sheet and Royal Festival Hall ticket where one of the dates was performed. It is kind of strange as the programme in terms of design doesn't really sit with any of the other Sylvian programmes but is up to the standard of the others. The performance actually heralded some new material.
The back of the programme there is some text printed in Japanese. A short discography of David is listed on the last page.
WHY IS SLOWFIRE SO RARE?
Like alot of Sylvian material, there was never enough printed originally. In the case of Slowfire they actaully ran out half way through the tour and didn't reprint them.
CONDITION: the cover has wear darkenening in places. corners have wear. interior is fine but the cover is no more than 'good' i have reduced the price to around a half of what you could expect to pay for a mint one (£120 plus). moreover, this isn't something i just don't know when i can get in again. also comes with the amended poetry sheet and royal festival hall ticket where one of the dates was performed and this copy was obtained.
