Eileen Cooper RA is one of those artists whose distinctive style stays with you long after you have left the exhibition. For there she goes, from the canvas and into my mind, the lady who meets everyday without her clothes, neither too skinny nor too fat, appearing in episodes of her life, relaxing, sketching, dreaming, putting on make-up, making love ... we see a life unfolding completely without restraint.
The artist of the woman without her clothes is without doubt one of the most compelling in recent British Art history.
Eileen Cooper lives and works in London.
She has a great website at www.eileencooper.co.uk where you can buy some of her fantastic and stunning signed prints at affordable prices starting at just under £300.00.
Highly recommended.
