Åke Lindman's (Beyond Enemy Lines, the original Unknown Soldier) "Gold Fever in Lapland" is a finnish film made also for international distibrution.
The story is about the massive gold fever in 19th century northern Finland, the only in Europe at the time. It is about the greed, primitiveness and the everlasting search for better life in human nature. Scenery is of course the beautiful Laplan of Northern Finland.
