Olwyn Bowey lives and works in Sussex. Part of her art studies were spent under Sir Roger de Grey and Carel Weight at the Royal College of Art.

Early exhibitions included the Leicester Galleries, London.

Honorary Member of the Royal West of England Academy and is also an Associate of the Royal College of Art.

Her work is in the Tate Gallery.
