Lordy: the mother of all voices recites Dylan Thomas. What a combination! Unquestionally, Richard Burton had the most beautiful voice that I have ever heard. It is a voice of the Gods, a voice as golden as golden can be. When the Lord was giving out gifts he went overboard with Burton for apart from the voice he was broodingly good looking, enigmatic, majestic, and an actor as magnetic as the North Magnetic Pole. With these gifts he did what the rest of us men could only dream about: he loved the most beautiful women in the world.
Certainly, I would willingly come back as his fingerprints just for who they have caressed.
But I digress.
This is a wonderful CD. Just close your eyes and listen to the golden beauty of the words as recited by the great man.
