Random photos taken of Carshalton, Surrey. Carshalton is situated in the London Borough of Sutton, between the not-big-enough-for-a-proper-town-but-not-small-enough-to-be-pretty Wallington and big-enough-for-a-town-but-what-is-the-point-of-it Sutton. This is the outskirts of Surth London, innit. The photos were taken when a few flakes of snow fell on London and brought it to its knees. Buses and trains became a rumour, a whisper; roads were unpassable as no-one thought that gritting them might help.

Or so it seems.

Photos of West Street Lane, North St., Grove Park, Carshalton Ponds, All Saints Church, & High St.. It has a village feel and is one of the more interesting places in the usual grey scumland that is the extremities of South London.
