kate bosworth biog.
Thus it's not hard to understand why she is so demand in a myriad of diverse projects. Fluffy Bosworth is the only child of Patricia and Hal Bosworth. Though she was born on the West Coast she spent most of her childhood living on the East Coast, around Connecticut and Massachusetts. Kate Bosworth's first graced the silver screen in the Robert Redford/horse dominated 1998 film, The Horse Whisperer. She had been since childhood a keen horsewoman and this was one of the main reasons why she got the part. A part in the 2000 film Remember the Titans followed. Then, in 2001, Bosworth realised that most of the acting deals were done in Hollywood so moved to Los Angeles so she was on hand for auditions for acting parts. The move almost instantly paid off: ger first leading role in 2002's surfing movie Blue Crush, ended up grossing $40 million at the United States box office. Kate Bosworth had arrived. And for the young males in an audience she looked great in a bikini which was an added bonus for them. She then put her indie hat on by appearing in The Rules of Attraction and Wonderland (which is really for those in the audience who found Blue Crush shallow - no pun intended). Between 2002 and 2005, Bosworth appeared in a number of widely released films. Other roles included: Beyond the Sea, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, and Bee Season. Then she took mainstream big style by winning the part of Lois Lane in Superman Returns. More recently, she appeared in the movies The Girl in the Park, 21, Laundry Warrior. A project currently in the production stage is i>After.Life. Like most young actresses, particularly the pretty blonde ones, she has become a regular fixture on the bestest sexiest FHM and Maxim lists and tends to chart at the higher echelons rather than creep into them like a Sienna Miller say, or a Natasha Kaplinsky (did you know she's over 6ft tall?. If she was 5ft5 would she not appear higher in those lists? Food for thought. I hate heightism) . I wouldn't think she minds too much: she has appeared in several Revlon ads after all so one could say she has used her looks to her advantage. And to add a bit of class to her resume she has taken on the role of spokesperson for American luxury bag brand Coach in Asia. Skillfully, and with a touch of panache, she has combined both the commercial and the off-beat stands of her profession. Long may it continue. © ~ Paul Page, Lenin --------------- She is 5' 5" --------------- Has Bowiesque eyes with a partial blue/hazel left eye and blue right eye --------------- Keen horsewoman --------------- Dated the rather vacant but Canterbury's finest actor Orlando Bloom until around 2006 --------------- Speaks Spanish --------------- Played soccer (football to us the English who created the damn game!) but can't bend it like Beckham! Though neither can Beckham these days judging by his England appearances though I digress --------------- Father a former executive for Talbots ---------------
