I have always thought there would be a great market for reproduction posters at realistic and reasonable prices that spanned the whole career of someone who, I would say, had the female face of the 20th-century, Marlene Dietrich. With the exception of Greta Garbo, who could strike the pose with such striking effect as Dietrich?...
...Through the lens her face became an eternal work of art as memorable as any face Leonardo or Vermeer painted.
Reproduction posters are usually affordable way to start a Dietrich collection and I have concentrated on them as part of my collection. Originals have, for the most part, been out of my price range. I have bought from third party sellers on Amazon's marketplace and, from time to time, on ebay,
