At 36" x 24" inches this is a pretty big poster and the size lends weight to the power of Dali's imagery. A very striking piece which looks stunning when placed in the center and framed and alone on a big white wall.

This particular release seems to have appeared in the late 2000s from a company in Germany. Apart from exhibition posters I've always been in favour of Dali posters not having any writing as the imagery really needs no words (as if anyone need the Dali name or signature plastered all over it to tell you it's by, er, Dali - no-one has ever painted like Dali). But here the writing is discreet (well for Dali it's discreet), tastefully presented, and does little to distract from the main image which is always a good thing in my book.

The colour repro. isn't too bad either. I've seen the colour notched up in brightness on this one time and again and it really doesn't do the original any favours.
