Streatham Park Cemetery
Unfortunately, I arrived there late with just 30 minutes before closing time and no-one around to point me in the right direction. So I just photographed at random but I'm sure you will find photos here far more visionary than your usual angel statue peering from a grey background etc. Yes, there are angels but the way I have photographed brings new perspective, new life onto old bones.
One of the ex-wives of the great man, Roger Moore, is buried here. Dorothy Squires, famous in her own lifetime as a singer though largely forgotten today. But then anyone who has had the great man's fingerprints all over them deserves to be buried like a queen. Oh, and the uncle of the great actress and director, Ida Lupino (if she was good enough for the greatest film director that ever lived, Fritz Lang then she must have been a goddess, but I digress), is also buried here. Lupino Lane, another comedian.
