Superb book. Probaly the best designed and most gorgeous book to look at that I have come across. Coffee table style book, it's book and cumbersome but just plain mind blowing to look at. The plates are a joy to behold and the informative text puts each work into the context it was created. More on the book is on the inner flaps which are scanned below. The scans below are low resolution - the actual book is a 1000 times better - they just give you an idea of the book before buying. All © Phaidon Press.
