Turkish cassette edition of Earthling, originally released in 1997. This release features the album’s distinctive industrial and drum & bass-influenced sound, marking one of Bowie’s most experimental periods.
The cassette includes a 12-page fold-out booklet and was officially licensed and distributed by BMG Müzik A.Ş. in Turkey. Turkish cassette pressings from this era are notably harder to source than standard European editions.
The album title appears stylised on the cover as “EART HL I NG”, reflecting the original graphic design concept.
Artwork direction was overseen by David Bowie, with contributions including the iconic Union Jack jacket design by Alexander McQueen. The album was mastered by Bob Ludwig and features performances by long-time collaborators including Reeves Gabrels, Gail Ann Dorsey, Mike Garson, and Mark Plati.
