Philip Elsmore
Ten minutes before the beginning of the western campaign on the 10th of May 1940, a hand-picked division of para-troopers was already in the air, waiting to carry out a special task of strategic importance: a lightning attack to take the important bridges over the Albert canal to the west of Maastricht and to put the heavy artillery of Fort Eben-Emael out of action.
The deployment of a new type of attack, which had been kept strictly under wraps, took the Belgians completely by suprise. In the grey light of dawn the paratroopers landed silently by transport glider close to the bridges and on top of the fort.
The film depicts the precise planning and preparation of this operation as well as the exact progress of the battles.
After intensive research, and using documentary shots and the description of the battles by contemporaries on both sides, an impressive film documentary has emerged.

The old fashioned ways of paying are a bit more of a hassle for you but mean I can offer this item for the lowest price I possibly can. Card payments are very expensive so I prefer the old fashioned methods of payment. And let's face it, the good old fashioned cheque - well nothing is more secure than that.
