The key works in the career of this extraordinarily poetic artist. Crikey, I don't know of an artist who has moved me with the sheer beauty of his work. Some of the women below are as astonishingly ethereal as anything you will find anywhere, certainly among the older Pre Raphaelites. Takes the breath away and I certainly think that the bigness of many of his canvasses certainly help to make these works of timeless art.

The Lady of Shalott is, if you like, an exquisite invitation to the world of this artist who has transcended Victorian painting and now roams the mirrored corridors of the eternals, the immortals.

What an artist! Astonishing.
