David Lloyd George (1863 - 1945) ~ Trivia

Random trivia I've picked up on David Lloyd George. I will add to the page when time permits and I have any kind of encouragement. You know, even a 'share' gives one encouragement. I don't need much!

  • If you have any trivia or photos you would like to share please e-mail me here (ihuppert5@aol.com) and I will add it. It would be great to build this up into something substantial on the great man that as many people as possible could share. A fact a day keeps the doubters away. I just made that up! Or maybe I heard it someplace else and am recycling it. Can't remember.

  • A Welshman among the English, a nonconformist among Anglicans and a self-made man in the patrician corridors of power, David Lloyd George, the last Liberal Prime Minister of Great Britain, was the founding father of the Welfare State and was as great a peacetime leader as Churchill was in war. He was both a tireless champion of the poor, and a restless philanderer who was addicted to living dangerously.-Book: David Lloyd George: The Great Outsider
